The base of this pot is thick (with aluminum, I believe,i nside) and so far, nothing has stuck to the bottom and burned for us. The see-through lid is also a great feature. The handles stay cool, which is also a nice feature. We got this pot on sale - plus received free shipping for using PayPal. Shipping was lightning fast also. Great value for the price!
