Well, it wasn't a mess to clean up! It was easy. The product sits up and takes very little space. I haven't found anything not to like about this product. Would buy as a gift too!

It does not make the nice thick Belgin style waffles I was expecting. Cost of the product after I applied coupons ($20.00)and shipping left the item still costing near the original price, meaning shipping was almost as much as the product itself.
