Rachael Ray from Furi Tadpole Young Cooks Cutting Set:
A portion of the proceeds from this item will be donated to Yum-o! to empower kids and their families to develop healthy relationships with food and cooking.
The Rachael Ray Young Cooks Cutting Set includes the Tadpole with Blade Guard and a reversible, cut-resistant glove. The Tadpole handle was developed so a young hand can grip over the top of the blade for greater control. The cut-resistant glove is polyester, woven with stainless steel thread to reduce the risk of cutting injuries.
In fewer than five years, Rachael Ray has radically changed the way America cooks dinner. Her perky-girl-next-door swagger, her catchphrases for techniques, and her dinner ideology of simpler, less expensive and just in time have sold billions of books and placed her at the top of the talent heap of food television personalities.

About Yum-o!®...
Launched in 2006 by Rachael Ray, Yum-o!® is a nonprofit organization that empowers kids and their families to develop healthy relationships with food and cooking by teaching families to cook, feeding hungry kids and funding cooking education and scholarships.
Through our three core work areas of Cook, Feed and Fund, Yum-o! educates kids and their families about food and cooking by offering an interactive website that enables young cooks to get started in the kitchen and try out family-friendly recipies; teams up with partner organizations to feed hungry children; and funds innovative cooking programs in schools and educational opportunities for kids who are interested in pursuing careers in the restaurant and food service industry.
by Gwenyth (Tucson, AZ) 1 review The product was not of the quality that I expected. I have it wrapped and ready to take to the Post Office for return. I have ordered from Betty Crocker for many years. Just one item that I do not think is worth the cash.
by Karen (Redmond, WA) 2 reviews These knives are great with all of the extra safety protection added and the protective glove that comes with it will help my 8-yr old grandaughter learn how to gain great knife skills and still have protection all around.
by Debra (Madison, WI) 2 reviews The knife is great quality. If I weren't trying to hide it away, so my 5 YO son doesn't try to use it without supervision, I would probably use it myself.
The fingers in the glove are WAY too long, so it makes it more dangerous to use the glove than to just have him take his time and not try to chop at Rachael Ray speed just yet.
He was very excited to have the responsibility to cut up ingredients for our dinners.
by Kari (Portland, OR) 1 review This is a great product...my 4.5 year old is REALLY into cooking and he is very excited to have his "own" knife. The only thing I would recommend is to have the option to choose a specific size glove. The glove that came with the knife is too big for his hand which becomes a problem when he is cutting small slices or vegetables. It would be great if the glove came in XS, S, M, L so as he grew all I had to do was order a new glove.
