Rachael Ray from Furi Tadpole Young Cooks Cutting Set:
A portion of the proceeds from this item will be donated to Yum-o! to empower kids and their families to develop healthy relationships with food and cooking.
The Rachael Ray Young Cooks Cutting Set includes the Tadpole with Blade Guard and a reversible, cut-resistant glove. The Tadpole handle was developed so a young hand can grip over the top of the blade for greater control. The cut-resistant glove is polyester, woven with stainless steel thread to reduce the risk of cutting injuries.
In fewer than five years, Rachael Ray has radically changed the way America cooks dinner. Her perky-girl-next-door swagger, her catchphrases for techniques, and her dinner ideology of simpler, less expensive and just in time have sold billions of books and placed her at the top of the talent heap of food television personalities.

About Yum-o!®...
Launched in 2006 by Rachael Ray, Yum-o!® is a nonprofit organization that empowers kids and their families to develop healthy relationships with food and cooking by teaching families to cook, feeding hungry kids and funding cooking education and scholarships.
Through our three core work areas of Cook, Feed and Fund, Yum-o! educates kids and their families about food and cooking by offering an interactive website that enables young cooks to get started in the kitchen and try out family-friendly recipies; teams up with partner organizations to feed hungry children; and funds innovative cooking programs in schools and educational opportunities for kids who are interested in pursuing careers in the restaurant and food service industry.
by Susan (Waldport, OR) 1 review I ordered this for my 6 yr old grand daughter who loves to help in the kitchen. It is very good quality and the knife was sharp. The glove is a bit to big for her hand and I have a hard time getting her to wear it. Overall I am very pleased with the quality and I use the knife myself also.
by Terri (APO, AE) 3 reviews My kids both Love using this! My 11 year old son had decided cooking was no fun about a year ago, and being to use a real knife brought him back. My 6 year old daughter mimics Rachael and loves to cut vegetables. The only problem we have is the glove is too large for my daughter, but she has no problem using it. We had used other kids knives, but they couldn't cut most vegetables so if would take hours to get a meal ready. Thank you for helping me bring my kiddos back to the kitchen with me!
by MARY (Fredericksburg, VA) 1 review The knife fits my son's hand perfectly. He went right to work as soon as he opened the package. Even potatoes are easy to slice with the knife.
The glove is too large for his hands, so we will make due until he has grown a bit.
by Sandra (Kenai, AK) 1 review My daughter likes to cook with me, but using a knife to chop food wasn't a learning experience because she had to use a plastic knife. Now I can know she is safe even if gets too close to her fingers. This is actually our second Tadpole Young Cooks Cutting Set. Since it worked so well for my daughter, my husband used it to clean a fish...and broke a few stitches because his hand is too big. Now my daughter and my husband are getting new ones...size appropriate.
