Cuisinart Deep Fryer:
Whether you want to make fried chicken, light tempuras, onion rings or doughnuts, you can do so with this 1-L. Deep Fryer from Cuisinart. It features an extra wide fry basket, and it allows food items to float freely for crispy even cooking. A heating element keeps oil at peak frying temperature and the removable fry basket rests on the basket clip to allow fried foods to drain and cool so you don't have excess oil clinging on. It is healthier to use, too: it can fry more food using less oil than most conventional fryers. This 1000-watts deep fryer is housed in brushed stainless steel and also features adjustable temperature from 325F to 375F and the timer can be set for up to 30 minutes. The lid, fry basket and basket handle are all dishwasher-safe.
by Sonja (Spring, TX) 1 review We can have Holiday Green Bean casserole again. My daughter was diagnosed with Celiac so I have to make the FrenchFried Onions gluten free. Normally I don't fry anything, and when I tried to fry the onions on the hob my husband had a fit from the fried onion smell in the house. This little Jem and I went outside in 50 degree weather and fried the onions for the casserole Christmas day. It is easy for a non-fryer like me with the red and green lights to indicate when it's ready. Like I said we love it. My girls and myself love fried dill pickles so that will be the next thing to try. Thank you Cooking.com and Cuisinart!
by Susan (Shelby Township, MI) 1 review Received this deep fryer as a gift. Unfortunately, I had to return it due to its small size. I liked the design, the location of the controls, sturdy cover, but it is definitely too small for a family of four. And I found the cord (even though it's magnetic) to be a bit too short for my counter set-up and the magnetic connection is very sensitive. I think it would be a very nice product for a single or couple but not for everyday family use. With the exception of the cord, it is constructed well.
by RICHARD (Sun City, AZ) 1 review SOME PEOPLE HAVE TOO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS TO COMPLAIN THAT UNIT IS TOO SMALL!! I AM JUST A ONE PERSON BATCHLOR AND THE SIZE OF THIS FINELY DESIGNED MACHINE FITS MY NEEDS PERFECTLY!!
IF THE COMPLAINERS WOULD HAVE PERCHACED AN EMERIL LAGASSI OR OTHER FRYER WITH ABOUT 3-4 TIMES THE CAPACITY OF OIL IN THE FIRST PLACE THEY COULDN'T COMPLAIN.
THESE NAY-SAYERS SIMPLY DID NOT EVALUATE THEIR NEEDS FIRST AND THEN ORDER THE SIZE MACHIN THAT SUITED THEIR NEEDS AND USAGE!!
by Lynda (Biddeford, ME) 1 review The only negative resonse I have about this product is the fact it's a lot smaller than I expected for the price. I imagine the name is responsible for that. I had really hoped for a little larger product, but other than that I'm very happy with the deep fryer.
