by Laura (AUSTIN, TX) 1 review We have used this to make regular and yellow coconut rice. Directions are easy, use is easy, cleaning is easy. Would buy again.
by Heidi (SPOKANE, WA) 3 reviews We were looking for a small rice cooker that could do brown rice. This did it easily even when we didn't remember to wash the brown rice first. My husband was surprise how wonderful this rice cooker is and he is picky. It is easy and simple to cleaning.
by Natalie (New York, NY) 1 review I had borrowed a rice cooker from a friend and knew exactly what I didn't want. I reviewed many sites and liked the price here. I was also impressed that this rice cooker was highly recommended by America's Test Kitchen. I was not disappointed.
by Richard (Sun City Center, FL) 1 review I have used the cooker once so far, to cook white rice. It is easy to operate, just follow the instructions. Note that the graduations in the cooking pan are difficult to see. I also found it difficult to tell just where the liquid level was with respect to the graduations. Based on my results, I would recommend reducing the liquid added by about a tablespoon per cup of rice; the rice I cooked came out quite moist, even after the recommended 15 minutes of steaming after the "Cooking" light went out.
The leftover rice was better the second day; perhaps consider preparing the rice the day before (or at least several hours before needed) then reheating when needed.
