If you need a cooker that can be set in advance this is not for you but if your like me and are in the kitchen when you cook, you can't go wrong with this one. Also easy to clean!
by Mary (Bethesda, MD) 1 review Easy to use, excellent results. My only quibble is that the lid is not removable for cleaning. On my previous rice cooker (a much-used 20-ry-old Rival that finally broke down), the lid was removable, so right now this is very annoying, but I might get used to it.

I clean it immediately after I take out the cooked rice, so I don't have any problems cleaning it (for the people who have cleaning problems, I'm guessing it's because they allow the rice starch to harden and stick to the cooker.) I don't use the warm function because I prefer to clean the machine right away. Nonetheless, the first time I made rice, I let my rice sit about an hour after the cooker switched to

This was reasonably priced, & it is so easy to use. Eating rice all the time now, & can make so many different kinds, each one comes out perfect. All in all, a great buy.
