The size if adequate for a two person meal (sandwiches, fish, chicken, or vegetables). The first grill I received from Cooking.com appeared to have defects but was replaced without a problem.

Since the grilling surface is a non-stick-it is a joy to use. The raised handles make it very easy to hold onto with an oven mitt-if necessary.
