We have also fried mushrooms, turned out great. The sleek design allows me to keep it on my counter. We would recommend this deep fryer to everyone.

Not having much to compare it to, it was simple to set-up, follow directions and relatively easy to clean. Our friends have a different fryer and they could not believe how easy this was to use and clean. We've cooked a few different things so far and we're very happy with the performance.
