About Le Creuset...
Since 1925, artisans have been crafting Le Creuset cookware in the French village of Fresnoy Le Grand. Each piece of Le Creuset cast iron cookware is handcast, polished, double enamel-coated and then fired, resulting in some of the finest quality cookware available. Cast iron is one of the best materials for distributing heat gently and thoroughly and is ideal for induction ranges. The strong enamel coating will not absorb odors or flavors, and is easy to clean. Heavy lids securely seal in moisture and flavor. Le Creuset cookware comes in a variety of sizes, colors and styles to match any kitchen and cooking preference. So lasting, you'll pass it on to the next generation of promising cooks.
by MaryAnn (Lawrence Township, NJ) 2 reviews I love this pink teapot. The whistle is not overly loud, it is just the right loudness. I'm sure it will last for years to come.
by Judy (Caruthers, CA) 1 review After almost melting down my last copper tea kettle by letting it boil dry accidentally, it was obvious I needed a whistle on my next pot. This kettle is perfect not only because of the 'boil warning device' but also the dijon color works well with my kitchen like no other color would.
by Peggy (Yuba City, CA) 1 review I bought this for my daughter and future son-in-law as a shower present in memory of my mother who passed away 2 years ago. She had a whistling teapot just like this one. I know that every time that my daughter uses it, she will have fond memories of her grandmother. The teapot itself is great and we have never had any complaints about the similar one that my mother had.
by Barbara (Chevy Chase, MD) 1 review I chose this teakettle because I thought it would look nice sitting on my stove. It is very attractive, and it boils water quite well. It doesn't whistle very effectively, though. If you were a room away, you could easily miss it. Nevertheless, a nice product.
