by Jill (SAINT LOUIS, MO) 1 review After researching many toasters and buying one and returning it due it its flimsy weight and uneven toasting we decided to spend more and get this toaster. It is sturdy and looks well built but it toasts uneven and requires adjusting the dial often. It does not keep the bread warm in the toaster after toasting. I think I would buy a cheaper toaster nex time and just plan on replacing it when it stops toasting. It is amazing that it is impossible to get a good toaster these days.

The fact that the toast sits in the toaster till you are ready for it means it will be still be warm when it is served or turned into a breakfast sandwich. Bagels and other breads with a higher moisture content require a higher setting or a second pass, as with any device used to toast real moist fresh bread. I would not have bought this at the regular price but the sale price made it a steal!
