For a true Belgian waffle that's fluffy and thick all over, you need a specially-designed waffle maker, such as this nonstick Professional Belgian Waffle Iron by Waring. Made to professional standards, it rests in a cradle-like stand and comes with an attached handle that you turn as your waffle bakes. As you rotate the iron, the waffle drops from side to side so it puffs-up evenly on both sides as it browns all over - a noticeable difference when you compare it to other Belgian waffles you've had recently. It has a basic On and Off switch, a knob to adjust the browning and two LED lights that tell you when the power is on and when your waffle has finished baking . An audio beep tone indicates when the waffle maker is ready to operate and when the waffle is finished baking. Delivers up to 25, 1.25-in. thick Belgian Waffles per hour! It has a brushed stainless steel housing and a brushed, die-cast base. For easy clean up, the nonstick Professional Belgian Waffle Iron includes a removable stainless catch tray that is dishwasher-safe. Recipes and Instructions included.

The best waffle iron I have ever used. It makes waffles very fast, so if you a feeding several people everyone gets to have hot waffles together. I would recommend this waffle iron to everyone.

This waffle maker is practically dummy-proof. Waffles cook evenly on both sides and it is nearly impossible to burn them so long as you listen for the little beep. One thing I would improve is making it a little easier to extract the cooked waffle out of the maker. It is a little awkward to do this; I would have put a little sliding lever within the iron to help loosen the waffle. I would think some people might slightly burn their fingers trying to prod one edge out of the iron. But, so long as you have followed the oil instructions, the waffles do come away fairly easily from the iron.

This waffle iron is a dream to work with. I've gone through several waffle irons in my life time and this is the best ever! It is very easy to use and makes consistently fluffy waffles.

I came across a waffle iron very similar to this one while staying at Motel 6, I think. Any ways, I thought it was really neat! I love this item! It works great. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a waffle iron. I've had it for less than 30 days, and have aklready used it three times. I don't expect any problems, but you never know, knock on wood. It has a one warranty.

Best Belgian Waffle Iron by far

by Art, AZ
March 22, 2008

My partner and I have spent a lot of time and money researching and purchasing waffle irons that were not too expensive but promised to provide a REAL Belgian Waffle that was delicious. We wasted a lot of money on products that promised to make true Belgian Waffles but in reality made waffles no better than EGGO waffles. No offense meant to them because they are fine for what they are but for a TRUE Belgian Waffle, the Waring Professional Belgian Waffle Iron is by far the best product on the market. Whether it's breakfast or brunch for me and my partner or a meal for all our friends, this machine has been a blessing. It's fast and easily adjustable for whether you like your waffles moist or crispy, light or dark. And FAST! We used to wait for too many minutes because other waffle irons took to long to come to cooking temperature and were insufficient in trying to cook waffles for a crowd of friends. The WARING Belgian Waffle Maker makes it ideal for cooking for large groups since it cooks so quickly. Don't waste time on other machines -- This is definitely the best on the market and at a very affordable price.

I have a Cafe and everyone loves the waffles we have now. This maker is run 5:00am - 2:00pm everyday and I haven't had one problem with it. The waffles are awesome that comes off of it and the cook time is 2nd to none. I would recommend this product to anyone. I have had mine for a month now and haven't had any trouble with it and we are turning out at least 20-30 waffles a day. Thanks...

Great deal

My husband and I have enjoyed traveling and staying where the hotels serve breakfast. We have always enjoyed the waffles and how quickly their waffle maker has them ready. When I saw this we just had to try it. It has turned out to be a favorite of ours. I have made many different kinds of waffles, cornbread, cakes, and other desserts with it. It is a great machine for a great price. We love it.

Just what I wanted!

by Tyler, SK

After reading reviews on the web about waffle makers..I came to the conclusion that Waring Pro would be my best bet for the money. I was in the market for a decent product that I could rely on for years to come (which is becoming harder and harder to find these days), so after searching all over my hometown with no success, I decided that I could order it online. It was a good decision because since I've recieved this waffle maker it's been turning out perfect waffles...I am excited to try some other recipes other than the ones that came with it!! The only neutral comment that I have is that the measuring cup that comes with it doesn't quite give enough batter to make a perfect size waffle..It always seems to not quite be enough (that might be a function of the batter as well). Other than that everything works great and it is fast! I'm glad that I dished out a few extra bucks for this one over several other types that had a significant number of negative reviews or none at all.

It is the best waffle iron, for the price, you can't go wrong. I work in local restaurant, and we use a bulky , heavy cast iron one. But this one is light, so quick and easy to use and perfect results every time. So every morning i work at a local gas station, we have one of these waring pro, beautiful i can turn out waffles one right after the other, perfect results every time, never had a complaint yet. So after using it for awhile there, I knew I had to have one myself. Whether using a simple bisquick mix or belgian waffle mix out of the box, or even a homemade mix, results are perfect. Picture this a huge, thick, light, fluffy, sweet smelling waffle sitting right in front of you, topped with sugared syrrupy raspberries in every square, then whipped topping in a fluffy cloud in the middle, dusted lightly with powdered sugar, what says heaven more than that, mmmmm mmmm. The best waffle iron out there, you got to try it to experience wafflegasm.
note: instead of using the portion cup provided, I find it just as easy to use a 3 or 4 oz. ladle, the just scoop, pour and smooth out all with one tool.

Perfection!

by Kathie, AZ
April 14, 2007

I bought this as a gift for my son but I had the pleasure of using this waffle iron at his home. The waffle iron is well-made, easy to use and a breeze to clean. The results were consistent; perfectly formed waffles that were uniformly golden. We used a yeast waffle recipe that had to be prepared the night before so it involved some advance planning, but the only thing we needed to do in the morning was heat the iron. I used this recipe in my Vitantonio Mickey Mouse waffle iron at home and the results were not nearly as impressive. As with all my purchases from Cooking.com, the waffle iron was well packed and arrived at its destination quickly. It's always a pleasure to deal with this company.

Waring waffle iron

received this item for my Birthday.Wanted for a long time a unit that was just a bit more robust then I've now got. Does real well in the respect of cooking up real nice Belgian waffles.
Would recommended this unit though only if you can find a great price!Sells itself as being a "Pro-style waffle maker" makes Waffles like a pro, but it has way to many plastic parts to really be one! Just about every part on this thing is plastic, except the Waffle structure itself!

bad wiring?

The Waring waffle irons are not good enough for long term use. I had one that I used every day for 5 days, and It blew the breaker it was plugged into. It shorted out then would not heat up again. I was very dissappointed with this product. I did, however, like the shape. It was very easy to clean, and very easy to use. It made beautiful waffles.

Waffle Queen or Waffle Cabin

by Debbie, GA
August 5, 2008

My family just loves the waffles from our new professional Belgian waffle iron by Waring. I purchased it for our cabin. It is our special treat when we stay there. Waffles turn out great every time and no one is hungry till dinner. So I can't decide if I am Waffle Queen (spin off from Waffle King) or if our place is Waffle Cabin (spin off from Waffle House)!
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!!!

Brought it to my office for everyone to try. One of the girls said it would be the new appliance for her camper!

After using a top rated Cusinart waffle maker I had the opportunity to try this model in a head to head during a big brunch. I use a yeasted waffle recipe that rises overnight and typically makes the nicest flavored, crisp and fluffy waffles (in my old waffle iron). In the head-to-head the waffles produced by the Waring were lighter, criper and cooked faster. No comparison, and I had already thought the Cusinart was exceptional. The waffle iron is as important as the recipie in ensuring a superior waffle.

My husband and I had fun using the waffle maker. We've made them several times using the overnight waffle recipe that came with it. They turned out great. I gave my mom a couple of leftover waffles. She's very hard to please and she thought they were excellent. We found that the #4 setting makes a nicely browned and crisp waffle.

Best Waffle Iron

We had looked at so many waffle irons, but just couldn't find the one we wanted. We went on your site and found the one we were looking for. It does exactly what we wanted and it doesn't take but just a few minutes and your waffles are ready to eat. It cleans up in just a few minutes.

Good for one family

by Jo, NY
March 24, 2007

I bought the waffle iron based on the numerous positive, often rave, reviews posted here, and I agree with many of them: The iron produces beautiful, tasty waffles quickly, and clean-up is easy. I used both the over-night waffle recipe and the traditional Belgian waffle recipe, and both worked very well. For my family of three, it's great.

However, I had hoped to make lots of waffles for lots of people, and the one time I have tried to do that, it didn't work out that well. I followed the recommendations in the pamphlet to keep the finished waffles warm and crisp by holding them in a slow oven on cookie sheets until time to serve. They lost their exterior crispiness and became floppy. The taste was fine, but the texture was not very appealing. This was for one batch of the traditional Belgian waffles, which I served as soon as the last waffle came off the iron.

So, for feeding big groups I think I might have been better served by a well-rated six-waffle iron, which I had also considered.

easy to use and make good waffles

by Steven, NH
June 1, 2009

I own the Sugar Hill Inn in NH and make waffles for my guests about once a week and generally run two machines at the same time. They are easy to use and make good waffles. The built in timer frequently fails so set your owner timer to be safe. Under this usage the waffle irons last me about a year. Since true restaurant grade machines cost three times the price I am ok with replacing them from time to time.
