For a true Belgian waffle that's fluffy and thick all over, you need a specially-designed waffle maker, such as this nonstick Professional Belgian Waffle Iron by Waring. Made to professional standards, it rests in a cradle-like stand and comes with an attached handle that you turn as your waffle bakes. As you rotate the iron, the waffle drops from side to side so it puffs-up evenly on both sides as it browns all over - a noticeable difference when you compare it to other Belgian waffles you've had recently. It has a basic On and Off switch, a knob to adjust the browning and two LED lights that tell you when the power is on and when your waffle has finished baking . An audio beep tone indicates when the waffle maker is ready to operate and when the waffle is finished baking. Delivers up to 25, 1.25-in. thick Belgian Waffles per hour! It has a brushed stainless steel housing and a brushed, die-cast base. For easy clean up, the nonstick Professional Belgian Waffle Iron includes a removable stainless catch tray that is dishwasher-safe. Recipes and Instructions included.

Customer Reviews

Great waffles, excellent machine

by Anne, TX

This is our second Waring Pro waffle maker. We replaced the first one because the backside hinge thingy broke, we suspect because the pecans and other ingredients that we put in our waffles were too lumpy and over the course of three years of use, put pressure on that hinge until it finally gave way. We're very pleased with the fluffiness and quality of the waffles that this machine produces. Our new plan is to crumble or crush our lumpier ingredients in the hope that the back hinge won't break again.

Professional Belgian Waffle Iron

by Anna, CT

Waring's waffle iron has taken the worry out of waffle making. Each waffle comes out evenly cooked with a beep to tell you it is ready. Adjusting the dial for your cooking preference of lighter or darker waffles works great. If you want perfect waffles every time and who would not, this is the iron to get.

I purchased this waffle iron based on the excellent customer reviews and I'm glad to find out they are all well founded. The waffles come out perfect every time-nice deep pockets and evenly baked.

I have used this two times and both times it made such perfect waffles and pretty hassle free... I am very pleased with it. the reason why I give it a 4 is because I havent used too many others, so I have nothing to compare it too.

I have had cheaper waffle irons in the past but found them difficult to keep clean. This one is well worth the extra buck. It makes terrific waffles every time and clean up is a breeze! I use it often. It's easy to store as well.

For Waffle lovers only

by Bruce, AZ

This product makes absolutely the BEST waffles we have ever eaten, either at home or in a restaurant! There are two different recipes in the book that accompanies the product which are excellent. Both are so light that you practically have to put your hand on them so they don't float up off the plate. I can't recommend this waffle maker any more highly. Love waffles? BUY THIS!!

Sometimes the beep (3x) doesn't work and you can overcook the waffle. However, we used it for 19 people at a family reunion and everyone loved the waffles.

We really like the waffle iron and have used it 3 times now. The waffles turn out wonderfull each time and do not stick to the pan. I use the recipe on the Bisquik box and add whatever we want to the batter.

This waffle maker is worth every penny. After trying two other waffle makers, this one out shines them both. I wish I would have bought this one the first time around. It makes perfect golden waffles.

If you love waffles

by Cathy, CA
May 14, 2008

This is the waffle maker for you. We used our 3 times in the first 3 days we had it. Dinner waffles, lunch waffles and breakfast waffles. It cooks fast and evenly no matter the batter consistency. I don't think you could pay more and get a better waffle iron. It even comes with a clean up tray should your batter overflow.

Love it!

Not your usual waffles

by Malcolm, CT

So much of what one sees these days is full of superlatives that the term superlative loses its meaning. That said, this machine really makes top quality waffles, period.

Problems with design

by Sherman, MO
December 30, 2008

The waffle iron looks great. However, we wanted an iron with removable plates for easy cleaning, washing in dishwasher, etc. The plates are attached with screws. I attempted to remove the screws to see if I could wash the plates that way, but I had 2 problems: (1) the screws holding the handle broke when I tried to back them out; (2) the heating elements are screwed to the back of the plates. Otherwise, I suspect it is a great product.
