Put yourself in control of the flavor and fat content of the meat your family eats with this Waring Professional Electric Meat Grinder. Don't let its size fool you; it's a workhorse in the kitchen that can easily grind fresh beef, turkey, pork and chicken. It comes with three grinding discs that provide three distinct grinds and can be used for different jobs. Use the fine disc for grinding meats to make pate, breakfast sausage and spreads, or to make baby food or grind vegetables for use in robust broth recipes. Get out the medium disc for grinding meat for dinner sausages, like Italian or Polish, or to grind turkey and other meats. The coarse disc can be used for grinding veal and ground beef for hamburgers and chili. This electric meat grinder has a heavy-duty metal base with a brushed stainless steel finish, and its blade is made from stainless steel so that it stands up to the rigors of heavy use for years and years. It is equipped with a reverse function that easily releases food to prevent clogging. It comes with two sausage attachments for stuffing your own sausages at home, and it is packaged with a recipe booklet and user's manual.

  • MOST HELPFUL REVIEWS

  • Well folks, my review may be suspect as I bought the grinder in order to grind pieces of chicken (bone included) for dog food. However, it handles it well. Had borrowed the same model from a friend to try and liked it. Then researched on line and it seemed the best deal for the price. Hers has held up well over time. It's reasonably easy to clean and well-balanced when pressure is applied in order to engage a piece of meat with the grinder mechanism. It is really important to make sure the blade is placed facing the right direction (which is kind of counter-intuitive) or the machine appears to work, but not well.
Just imagine what I'm putting mine through. For regular meat grinding, it's probably really, really good!

    I recommend this product.

  • Waring Pro Meat Grinder

We make our own raw cat food, and had been using a Kitchen Aid mixer attachment. We knew the wear and tear was going to destroy it, so we researched and bought the Professional Electric Meat Grinder by Waring. Although it was twice as expensive as the next lesser model, we're glad we made this decision. The grinder weighs enough to keep it steady even when putting chicken necks through it. It grinds consistently, and when something does not appear to be going through easily, a quick flick of the reverse lever gets everything going smoothly again.

    I recommend this product.

  • Meat grinding

We bought the grinder to safely grind our own hamburger and chicken at home. We know that it is clean and healthy without additives that are used in lunch meats and ground meats from the grocery store. We have used it only once. We bought a whole beef sirloin (on sale) for hamburgers and steaks for grilling. We look forward to using it more in the future. We feel that it is a way to frugally serve healthy food.

    I recommend this product.

  • Waring Meat Grinder

I was very apprehensive when the manufacturer would not respond to my queries. And that alone will prevent me from buying anything else from them. But the meat grinder is fine, works well though loud. Very disappointed in customer relations.

Simple. Well-contructed. And easy to clean. Time will tell whether it holds up, but I've read good reviews, so I expect good things.

  • Using the Meat Grinder

The Waring meat grinder is so much easier to use than the attachment to my Kitchen Aid that I had to stand on a stool to operate!! The weight and the power of the machine makes this one a real winner.

  • Great grinder

The meat grinder works well and grinds the meat nicely. The motor is powerful enough to grind the meat easily. Although you do have to wash the parts by hand, it is easy to clean. I would recommend this grinder.

  • needs too frequent cleaning and clearing during use. cutting blades do not fit closely enough to cutting plate to shear connective tissue causing ground meat to stay connected to meat still inside grinder creating obstruction.
