| Cilantro is pureed with jalapenos, garlic, fish sauce, and sesame oil to make a flavorful coating for grilled chicken. The dipping sauce, which also contains cilantro, is a classic Thai sweet-and-sour sauce, and makes a tasty addition to a side serving of grilled eggplant.
Cut three Japanese eggplants lengthwise into twelve slices total. Brush them with a bit of canola and sesame oil, then grill them until tender and brown grill marks appear, about 3 minutes per side.
