A little Bitter
Recipe looked great when baked but was bitter in taste, despite the brown sugar and 2 T of honey. Is it possible the baking powder quantity should be 1 1/2 tsp. rather than 1 1/2 Tbsp.? This would make it bitter.

DYNAMITE!!!
I doubled the recipe and used two metal loaf pans instead of the 9" X 13" metal pan called for in the recipe. Goofed and forgot to add the whole corn kernals at the end and never the less its some of the best corn bread I've ever had. Won't forget the whole corn kernals next time.

Is it a loaf pan or 9 x 13? How does it take 13 hours to make this. Please clarify

Is this safe?
Is it really safe to leave this mixture on the counter unbaked overnight? It seems that it could open you up to lots of bacteria. Would it work the same to let it sit in the refrig overnight? I'm a bit unsure about this.

Misleading picture
The picture shown with this recipe looks like it was baked in a loaf pan not the 9x13 pan stated in the recipe. Which is it ?
