Just Terrible! No one at the party liked the dip. Flavorless, expensive not to mention plain disgusting.

Review of Cheesy Spinach & Artichoke Dip
I only gave this recipe a "3" because it is written rather casually, and leaves out some vital information - for example, just how big a can of artichoke hearts do you use? Or what size package of shredded mozzarella ? (In my area, it comes in 8, 12, and 16-oz. packages. I'd suggest adding some sharp cheese like Romano or Parmigian.I'm not even going to get started on the pound of bacon.

Skip the Mayo and Sour Cream.......YUK!!!!
NEVER use Mayo and Sour Cream in this recipe. It tastes so gross!!! Instead, substitute those two items for the (2) HELLEVAGOOD BUTTERMILK RANCH DIP. You will see how much better this tastes.

Delicious and can be healthy
If you want a healthier recipe try adding all fat free mayo, sour cream and mozzarella cheese and forget the bacon. It is very good and even my picky husband liked it. You may need to add a little bit mare sour cream to the dip wet enough.

get over it--it's delicious.
seriously, it's a DIP and it's meant for parties--not everyday! As my doctor said--everything in moderation. I'm not going to eat the entire recipe myself. There is nothing wrong with occasional indulgences. I believe the bigger factors in obesity is the lack of exercise and portion control.

You do not have to make this everyday--A special treat for the holidays--I would not give it a thumbs down--A big thumbs up

Thumbs Down
It's disappointing to see a recipe that includes a pound of bacon and a container of sour cream. No wonder two-thirds of Americans are overweight or obese. Eventually there are life-altering consequences to the weight issues. Please provide some healthy recipes!

want some variety? add crab meat!
I've done this dip NUMEROUS times over the years. It’s always a hit. For a little added variety, I’ve removed the bacon, and added flaked crap meat instead. Artificial or not, it's super delicious on Triskets (served hot). Or I suppose you could do both?

Soooo Tasty!
Made this recipe the other night as an app. for family, 1st time ever making spinich dip & it was delicious! It took a while to fry up all the bacon but it was WELL worth it. It looks like too much bacon after you chop it but it was the perfect amount! (Def didn't have an overly bacon flavoring.) Only thing I think it needed was more mozzarella; other than that it was wonderful & perfect with a french loaf & tostitos scoops.
