Coconutty good -- plus my own mixing / baking tips
Good cookies... and they're easy. However, Michele showed very abbreviated instructions. I'd suggest the typical cooking baking steps: mix dry ingredients together, cream the Crisco with both sugars, then beat in egg and vanilla. Finally combine all remaining ingredients. I found the making of a "log" unnecessary. Just drop by tablespoons and bake 9-10 minutes (any longer and they'll be too tough). Finally, this recipes makes four dozen, not two.

THEE BEST EVER!
WOW! What a cookie. And such a surprise too. I doubled the coconut and added 1/2 cup more oats. The cookie spread out on the pan. Fortunately, I used parchment paper and they peeled right off when they cooled. My guest lined up for these yummies.

The directions must not be correct. The cookies do not look like 3 inch cookies.......or are the directions correct? Thanks
