Great for those saturday breakfasts!
Made this for me and kids on a school holiday, other than my picky sour living kid that hates french toast, this was a hit! I changed it up to make it healthier. I used 6 slices of whole grain bread, increased vanilla to 1 tsp, increased cinnamon to 1 tsp, and omitted the sugar and just put a little agave nectar instead. I didn't use raisens, the kids don't really like them much, and instead of butter, I melted 2 tbsp organic virgin coconut oil.scooped some spoonfuls of greek yogurt as topping.

WOW
made this for dinner and my husband is still raving about it. Excellent - taste, consistency, and easy to make. I used the Honey Crisp apples and they added a sweet crispiness to the topping. You do not need syrup for this french toast. A definite keeper in the recipe file!

This was a good recipe, except that I believe that the milk should be 1 1/2 cups instead of 1/4 cup. The french toast was dry inside and I like a moist inside of the french toast. Other than that it was delcious.

Good and sweet!
It was a similar recipe to another baked french toast recipe I had. This one was great. The only change I made was using apple fritter bread from Target. I used apples and pears. It was a very good and it was sweet. My family loved it.

Looks very good
Just wanting to know what the nutritional value is for this. Sugars, carbs, proteins, calories, etc. ???? It would get all 5 cups but without the nutrition stated can't do it.
