Terrible Taste & Too Much Work!
I made this cake twice. My 1st layers came out like hockey pucks. My 2nd attempt was not much better, & I am an experienced cook! I never used so many bowls & utensils with such a sad result. I expected a light & fluffy cake. It was dense & tasteless. I used almond extract i/o coconut, but I can't see it would make any difference. The frosting did not need that pinch of salt. Do not make this cake! It is either missing ingredients or proper instructions. This is a LOSER!
