Use honey!
Using honey is cheaper but still imparts the sweetness and lovely taste you need in the filling. Honey and blueberries are a beautiful match! Maple syrup is a big plus in this recipe but, times being what they are, not everyone can afford this delicacy. The crust on this tart is divine but the filling should be spooned into it and then gently smoothed out. You risk crumbling the crust if you don't do this.

Easy and delicious
What a fantastic recipe! I can't wait to try it with fresh strawberries. Very simple to make. The nuts in the crust are a bonus for flavor.
