DELISH!
Made this today, I added 4 bananas instead of 3, and this made the bread very moist, I did'nt have bittersweet chocolate so used unsweetened, has a very dark chocolatey flavor to it.

Too Dry
This is not a good recipe. It's way too dry. Plus, I'm not a fan of the salty taste you get from it either. It's too much for my taste. I will not be making it again.

Really, really dry!
This is a tasty recipe, however the result is a very dry bread-it seems that something is missing (and I noticed it when mixing, I just wasn't sure what to do about it). I am pretty disappointed in the texture and I will likely just go back to my old standby from Beard on Bread for banana bread and add some chocolate chips. So disappointing.

pumpkin chocolate bread
I have used this same recipe I found earlier only instead of the bananas it called for 1 can of Pumpkin. My recipe also makes 3 loaves of bread. Have had many ask for recipe.

great
great receipe. For those who worry about the moistness of the bread, simply add another 1/2 banana or 1 whole very small banana.

over the top chocolate
I had 3 old bananas so I made this as small muffins and took them to work. I wish that I had read the reviews because I think that adding yogurt is a good idea, the batter was rather solid. I wonder if the quantity of chocolate is correct, 4 oz. is a lot + cocoa powder. However, everyone loved them and the basket was empty by lunchtime.

Based on the prior review, I added 1/4 cup of yogurt to the mixture and it was nicely flavored and not too dry. I think I might up it to 1/2 cup next time, and see if that helps or hinders the moistness in this recipe, I'd like it just a bit moister.

Goodness
I liked this a lot but when I cut into the bread it crumbled, it seems a little dry. The kids loved it and it had a wonderful buttery flavor (I used salted butter).
