Really tasty! :D
I made these for a friend as a Christmas present. He said they were fabulous. I thought they would be difficult to make, but they are not. I used lemon extract instead of lemon zest (what I had on hand) and I forgot to put the sugar on top, but I don't think it mattered. I think they were almost better without. I can't say about how long they stay fresh as they go really fast! :D

Love the goat cheese
These muffins are delicious. Instead of figs I used dried chopped cranberries. When I used the filling I had some left after I put a heaping teaspoon in each muffin. I was afraid the muffins would overflow. In retrospect I should have used all the filling in the muffins because after baking they don't overflow. The little I had left I used as a pancake filler the next morning
