Use canned chick peas
I made this but instead of going through all the trouble of soaking the chick peas I just used canned ones...saved me a lot of time and trouble. Just added tap water instead of soaking water, came out great.

Though the process was long, the recipe was very simple to make. I added the measurements as specified for the spices and found the taste rather bland. The recipe does say to adjust for seasoning but when you do something for the first time, you're not too sure where to adjust. If you're an expert with spices, I'm sure you could kick up the flavour. I will eat it all but I'm not sure I'll make it again.
