The sauted ingredients are not mixed with the olive mixture as the idea is to make two different types of bruschetta - one with mushrooms and one with olives

Clarification
The last step states to spread the sauteed mushroom mixture on half of the breads and the olive mixture on the other pieces. This recipe makes two different spreads.

Not missing A Step
These ingredients are for two different recipes. One is for the olive topping and the other is for the mushroom topping. Therefore, the ingredients are not to be combined, and a step is not missing. You have the option of making it two different ways.

Missing a step
I may be missing a step in the preparation of this green-olive tapenade. The recipe does not tell you to add the saute ingredients to the olives etc. in the food processor or blender. I assume you do but this step should be included.
