Yummy
I had friends for dinner and they could not get enough. The ladies wanted the recipe. What a delicious soup that can be prepared well in advance so the hostess can enjoy the evening with her guests. I cooked the soup several times, frying the marinated turkey with the shallots first and then adding the rest. Love this dish! It has become one of my favorite - can't wait for the next pumpkin season.

Thanksgiving dinner in a bowl!
Loved this recipe! Didn't have the chicken broth so I had to use bouillon cubes...glad I only added half the salt. My advice if you have to do as I did and use bouillon, don't add ANY salt until you get the soup to the table. Still, will add this to the permanent collection!

Tasty & easy...
We enjoyed this soup very much. I added more sweet potatoes, recipe didn't call for enough. I also added frozen peas instead of green beans and this soup turned out beautiful. The turkey cooks in one minute and is tender, so use bite size pieces.

My Friends Loved It!!
This recipe was a big hit when I made it for friends. The flavors are wonderful! My friend asked for the recipe and she's made it several times since, as have I. It's a good soup when the weather turns cold. I served a warm, crusty bread with it.

excellent!
If you added a cranberry martini you could skip the whole thanksgiving! This is excellent!
