It's better my way!
I used 1 lb. ground turkey sprinkled with 1 tsp of Adobo (red cap) and then I sauteed with the onion in 2 Tbsp oil. I didn't add the salt (tomatoes have enough) and instead of tabasco I used a pinch of red pepper flakes.

I liked it
This was a very flavorful soup and would be easy to tweak for personal preferences. When I made it I used my own stock/broth and leftover cooked turkey I had stored in my freezer. Also used frozen spinach since this is what I had on hand. I'm not certain I'd use the bacon again, I don't think it added that much flavor to warrant the extra saturated fat. And I'd only use 1 tsp. of salt instead. It would be good served over brown rice.

Seriously?
This soup sounds good, but the nutritional info must be messed up. 3200+ mgs of sodium PER SERVING????? I could just serve a salt lick instead. And 638 calories sounds high for chicken, tomatoes, and black beans.

Chek the nutrition content!!!!
Sounds tasty, but with 638 calories, 28 grams fat, 327 mg of Sodium, I won't even try to make it !! I surely hope that the notation of 437 grams of carbs is a mistype... This is ONE VERY UNHEALTHY RECIPE !!!!
