Not just for salmon!
I used blackfish from my husband's catch; and since I crusted both sides, I used more sesame seeds. The egg white/cornstarch mix was a great "glue" to keep the seeds on the fish. The sauce was a cinch to put together--the payoff so much more than the effort needed to make it. I just added some salt and pepper at the end. A surprisingly easy and good recipe for any fish. Great for company. They will think you worked long and hard to put it together.

Wonderful Mix of Flavors
The combination of sesame and soy sauce is one of my favorites; my husband not doesn't usually like soy sauce with anything. We both love this dish. There was enough soy taste for me and plenty for my husband and the sesame crust was a hit. This is one that will stay in my salmon recipe file.

Nice and Healthy!
I didn't have sherry so I substitued it with Chinese Cooking Wine. The sesame crust gave a nice 'crunch'. I served along with it some steamed asparagus and green beans with a side of buckwheat.
