This was terrible in my opinion. I followed the recipe, as best I could, and it was bad. I used a mixture of Gala apples and Granny Smiths, for a sweet/tart flavor. When it came out of the oven and cooled for a few minutes, I gave it a try. All I could taste was the bread crumbs. The apples were more dried out than cooked and the crumbs were dry. The brn sugar and cinnamon should have been doubled. Skip this one. I did save the apples and used them in a crisp.

I can't wait to make this dessert. It makes my mouth water just reading about it. It seems to be an easy dessert and delicious too.
