Try crisping the ham a bit while cooking the onion
This sounds like a great recipe, but for those of you talking about the lack of "ham flavor," why not carmelize the ham a bit while cooking the onions just to bring out the flavor? Also, I would add some chopped spinach or asparagus for a meal that sneaks in some veggies! I will try this weekend b/c I have a ton of potatoes and ham to use up; also 1/2 pkg of frozen spinach (make sure to thaw and completely squeeze dry b-4 adding to mixture). Can use mostly egg whites too to make even lighter!

Better after a few additions
Diced the onion instead of sliced, added oregano.garlic powder & paprika to the potatoe, also 2 cups of brocoli florets(blanched), and 1 cup of diced extra sharp cheese, added the ham when eggs were placed. Came out good!

Delicious!!! Great for leftovers & visitors brun
This recipe is a basic go to & other meats such as chicken, hamburgers, and lunchmeats can be used to wow your guests with a better breakfast/brunch. Put some fresh fruit and tea with this and how easy, delicious and requested this one will be.

Misleading and Needing More
No pan size nor cooking time noted left it to cook's imagination. Adding ham at the end ment that no ham flavored the dish...blah with just potatoes and onions. This recipe is not up to your standards. I think a simple revison of adding the ham while eggs are setting would take this so-so dish to a fantastic quick & tasty recipe. Like the picture and name indicate.

Frittata was wonderful !
I added more ham, 1/2 can of sweet corn, and cubes of sharp cheddar, with additional slices on top. I diced 1/2 onion instead of slices. The thinly sliced red potatoes needed additional cooking over the stove top + oven combined times noted, but it turned out great. There was enuf for 2 people to have a snack the next day and it was all gone!
