Agree with Jennifer completely. Bland. Not a good recipe for showing off the season's bounty of asparagus. Baking the asparagus after blanching it just over cooks it. Twice the garlic and maybe fresh goat cheese instead of ricotta might help... Just tossing all the ingerdients with the hot pasta would be less time-consuming and better texture than baked dish.

Okay
This recipe sounded great but turned out watery and rather bland. It was difficult to serve, as the spaghetti was very slippery and the pieces we cut fell apart as soon as we tried to remove them from the dish. Also, it could use more spices. Finally, the blanched asparagus became a little overcooked once the lasagna was done. I would pass on this recipe and just make a simple pasta dish instead (e.g., spaghetti tossed with sauteed asparagus, tomatoes, and onions).

Unusual but Bland
The ingredients sounded good but the result was disappointing. Very bland. I will not make this again.
