I made the pound cake for my husband's birthday. As I was making it, I noticed it didn't have any leavening and I was concerned about that. I returned to the website several times to check on that. It turned out to be very dense. I did not taste the orange zest until I bit into the crust. Otherwise, there wasn't a lot of flavor. The bourbon/apricot glaze was very sweet. It did add some flavor to the cake. I would not make this cake again. But, would consider the glaze for a pork roast.

Awful
Couldn't wait to make this delicious-sounding recipe. It was terrible. Dense cake, glaze was tart. Waste of my time and money! Threw it in the garbage, with the recipe. Find another one to make.

Made this for a potluck at work. It's been a big hit! Recipe was very easy to prepare, and I'll certainly be making it again.
