tip :making bbq pork spareribs
I found that in making pork sparearibs that removing the membrane on the back of the spareribs makes them easier to eat and more tender. It is easy to remove: Use a knife to loosen the membrane and then grab that end with a paper towel and pull. enjoy

Ribs - Indoors/ Outdoors...
People, please! Concentrate on the recipe as it's written and give your reviews based on your experience following it. Stop preaching about the outdoors, since not everybody in the world can go outdoors to cook. What about the apartment dwellers in big cities? This recipe is excellent. The only change I made was to lower the temp. to 350* when I basted the ribs with a BBQ sauce, to avoid too much browning. Otherwise, this is a wonderful, tasty recipe.

RIBS SHOULD BE ON THE SMOKER
we realley like this recipe, but we put the ribs on the smoker for about 4 hrs. really tasty the whole nabiorhood enjoyed. summer is all about outdoors not the kitchen with a hot oven.

Ribs should be smoked
this recipe calls for some slow roasting on the grill rather that baking in the oven. That's what summer is all about!!
