Great Flavor but...
need to brush a egg wash over dough prior to baking and watch the baking time mine went over by 10 mins and cut through more than one layer of the rolled dough and pull apart to bake more evenly. Also way too much glaze per the recipe could make 1/2 and be just fine. Tastes super! I also used pecans not walnuts and added more filling by 1/4 cup.

Thank you so much for this recipe! It's almost identical to one my mother used to make traditionally at Christmas from the time I was a teenager. We would have it for breakfast on Christmas morning, and after I was married and had children she would always give us one, and we continued the tradition on Christmas morning. She would make them and give them to friends and neighbors. When she died, I searched everywhere for her recipe, but was unable to find it. This year I decided on a whim to search through Yahoo! and here it is! I can't believe it after all these many years! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
