Awesome
Excellent! Probably too many calories, but too tasty to pass up!

Love these potatoes I make them q Christmas Eve
I make these for my family every Christmas Eve when all the kids come home and they love them. It makes enough you can eat them for a week and never get tired of them! I leave out the sausage and only use bacon for the flavor since we have a spiralcut ham as well.

yummy!
This recipe looks so good it's being made this evening. And yes I know it has lots of calories fat and whatnot, but every once in awhile is fine. I also wanted to point out to Jeanne in GA that this is not from "Healthy Cooking Magazine" It's from "Taste of Home" So don't cut off your nose to spite your face, as it were.

Hits the Spot on a Cold Winters Night!
Great recipe. You can tweek it anyway you want - you don't have to complain about it. If it is too fattening for you-skip it.

Everything in moderation
Is anyone else tired of the self-righteous people who point out the fat and calories and sodium and what not in a recipe? First of all, presumably all of us are literate enough to read it ourselves. Second, if the recipe doesn't appeal to your dietary needs, don't make it. I for one believe there's nothing you can't eat once in a long while--everything in moderation.

Hearty Twice-Baked Potatoes
I have not prepared this yet, however, will do so my family will love this for the Holidays and for special events. I would have a dish of sour cream and some type of hot sauce on the side. I have been looking for a Twice Baked Potato recipe for some time, thank you!

NOT Healthy!
This dish probably does taste good (haven't made it, never will), but for a recipe from a "Healthy Cooking" magazine, it is appallingly UN-healthy! Sausage AND ham AND bacon, butter AND salad dressing, lots of full-fat cheese AND sour cream -- this is heart disease on a plate. I certainly won't be looking for recipes in Healthy Cooking Magazine.

A meal in itself.....
I cooked these one night and trying to eat just one was a challenge. My two sons ate two each they were so good. I will be cooking these again real soon!
