YUCK!
Not even close. In my mind, any crab cake with Old Bay Seasoning in the title should be true to its eastern shore origins. Might as well use canned crabmeat. Not a recipe for those who like the taste of crab...

Better than Maryland crab cakes
I agree that this isn't Maryland crab cakes, they are really better. This recipe highlights the flavor of the crab with accents from the old bay and bell pepper. It does remind me of the crab cakes I had in virginia growing up, but less fatty with more crabby goodness.

I never had Maryland Crab Cakes but this crab cake recipe turned out to taste great. So maybe its more of a NorthEast crab cake. To me this is a keeper

Maryland Crabcake Purists, Beware!!
First off.....where's the mustard? And the Worcestshire?? To those of you that are serious Maryland crabcake purists, this is NOTHING like what you're used to. It misses the mark by a LONG shot!
