Great coconut flavor
Great recipe. I substituted graham crackers for the animal crackers, but it was just as delicious. Good tips on tempering eggs. My 9 year old daughter helped me make it and we had no scrambled eggs.

different pie
didn't actually try this because it's NOT what's in the photo. Photo has chocolate crust and not toasted coconut garnish. Might be an excellent recipe but if you all don't care enough to actually SHOW me what it is, I'm not gonna bother with it.

Wonderful!!
This pie was fantastic. It was easy to make and the coconut taste was just right. It was light, creamy and very refreshing. Everyone loved it and several people have asked for this recipe. You will want to make this pie over and over agian. The rave reviews came from lovers of coconut cream pie.

OMG!
Wow! I made this for my husband's birthday. He has really been into coconut lately. He and the rest of my family LOVED it! I mean went crazy for it. It was so easy to make. The only change I made was to substitute pecans for the animal crackers in the crust. I have a feeling I will be making this for many years to come. Thank you for this exceptional recipe!
