I have lived in Pennsylvania all my life, and never once I have ever seen Chicken Pot Pie made in the oven! In a large pot you put the chicken in a mix of broth, water and seasonings (parsley, salt, pepper, and whatever tickles your fancy) and cook until chicken is done. Remove chicken from put, de-bone(you can remove the skin too), add vegetables (usually just potatoes) and chicken back into pot. When vegetables are almost done then you add noodles. My PA Dutch Granma makes it this way!!!

That's not the way the real Pennsylvania Dutch makes their chicken pot pie. The ingredients are about right, but the cooking method isn't how you do it at all.
