Just like mama made!
This was just like my mom made 50 years ago. We lived in Hollywood and had it at the Brown Derby too. Thanks for the memories!

Mama's recipe
YummmmThis is how my mother made Monte Cristo sandwiches when I was a little girl. She'd roll over in her grave at the thought of deep frying it! She served it with orange marmalade.

Monte Cristo Sandwich
Very, very good. Did only use 2 tablespoons butter to grill. Used French Bread. Used Raspberry jam.
