Not French Toast
Far too much liquid for the amount of bread that will fit in a 3 qt dish. I cut it down to about 3/4 & still had to bake it an extra 30 minutes. The flavor is fabulous but it's definitely a bread pudding, not "french toast."

Servings
How many does this recipe serve? And - I also would like the nutritional values as I have a diabetic in the family.

Why never any nutritional values?
Am I the only one that would like to have nutritional values added to these recipes? Bet not!

Moist, fluffy & yummy!
I tweaked this recipe at bit to share at work. It still came out delicious! I used cinnamon-raisen bagels (they were fresh & available) & substituted 1/2 the sugar with Splenda; I used 1/2 low-fat & 1/2 reg. half & half & cream cheese. You could also try egg substitutes for 1/2 or all the eggs. I baked in a 3-qt dish, but could have used a 4-qt size as it was almost overflowing! My co-workers loved it! Will make again.

very good
I made this for a pot luck luncheon. It was very popular. You don't need nearly as many slices of the cinnamon raisin bread as the recipe calls for and cutting off the crusts is unnecessary.

Fabulous!!!
Easy to make--and can make it the night before. Incredibly rich--very yummy. It will be a staple at my house for special brunches and breakfasts. It's even good cold and leftover the next day but it also reheats easily. Highly recommend this dish!
