I also add sliced carrots and a dab of butter before closing the foil packets. It can also be baked in the oven @350° - 375° for 45-60 minutes. (Be sure to put a baking sheet under the packets in case you have a leak in your packet!)

Great tasting and easy
I make this all the time. Sometimes I thow in some mushrooms and green pepper. When they're done, I open the pouch and put in a slice or two of cheese, then close the pouch to let the cheese melt. Wonderful!

Works well
Been doing this for years. I have mixed the new potatoes, cut evenly to cook evenly, with various vegies, such as carrots, broccoli, sugar snap peas, red or green pepper strips, fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs. Use individual serving foil packets made ahead of time, keep in fridge, and throw on the grill. Using double foil on the bottom helps from burning.
