I thought this was OK. But I took David's advice and added egg noodles. After eating the first time, I added a can of Rotel and a can of drained, chopped artichoke hearts. Then I gave it 5 cups. Oh, and I added chopped red bell peppers with the leeks.

Homey and comforting; everyone loved this
GREAT comfy food. Thighs work as well as breasts; always use fresh broccoli - slightly more than 1 lb is OK - and use fresh thyme. I never keep sherry in the house, so sweet Marsala was my substitute the first time, and dry vermouth was great the second time. The sauce is delicious; I omitted the Parmesan once and it was great. Kitchen Basics is my favorite brand of chicken stock; never used canned.

This was bland and not worth the time
Really needs something to spice this up. Don't remember Chicken Divan this bland. It was awful and won't be making again for sure.

This Dish ....
This dish, or something similar to it was a direct cause of me marrying my second wife. Unfortunately, you can only eat so much Chicken Divan.

ADD Egg or Bowtie Noodles
Tried 1st time, and is was blaaaah. Next time after looking at picture, I added Noodles on bottom of dish,Mucho better.

Looked better than it was
I thought this recipe looked really good, but somehow it didn't turn out too well. Probably won't try it again to find out what went wrong. My husband ate it over rice and said it wasn't too bad.
