This recipe can be made with lean ground beef or turkey. It's very easy and tastes great! It's totally customizable too. You can add more or less chili powder and brown sugar, depending how much heat and sweet you're looking for.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
15 ounces tomato sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1 dash pepper
hamburger buns
DIRECTIONS
Brown ground beef or turkey in a medium stock pot.

Add green pepper & garlic. Saute.

Add remaining ingredients.

Simmer for 20 minutes, or until desired thickness is reached.

Serve on hamburger buns.
