This decadent-tasting breakfast is surprisingly easy to prepare.
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspooon vanilla
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons brandy
Good crusty French bread
Brandy-Sour Cream French Toast Recipe at
Whip all ingredients except bread together well.

Slice bread into four slices (about 1-inch thick. Soak slices in wet mixture.

Heat griddle and coat with butter. Cook each slice of bread until nicely brown on both sides and cooked through.

Serve with your favorite syrup or homemade apricot jam.

Absolutely, top crust (pun). Serve with a slice of bacon and some cantaloupe. All the flavors marry and live happily ever after!!!
