Stuffed Jalapenos with Cream Cheese & Bacon

Spicy, creamy and savory, these stuffed jalapeños get the party started.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 package bacon, diced.
2 packages Cream Cheese
24 Jalapeno peppers, halved and de-seeded.
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
1 cup flour
2 Cups Panko Bread crumbs
4 eggs, beaten
3 mixing bowls
cookie sheet

DIRECTIONS
Cook bacon over medium heat in a non-stick skillet until crisp. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and the cooled off crumbled bacon.


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.


Halve the Jalapeno peppers and remove seeds and ribs.


In a small mixing bowl, beat the eggs. In another bowl, place the flour in it. In another bowl, place the Panko bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese and mix together.


Stuff the cream cheese and bacon into the halved Jalapenos. Once you are done stuffing the all the halves, that is when you will lightly dust them with flour, then dip in the egg, then into the Panko-Parmesan mixture.


Arrange the breaded Jalapenos onto the cookie sheet. Bake in the 400 degree oven for 30 minutes or until the bread crumbs are lightly browned.

Looks good; will guess at ingredient portion sizes
Will definitely make this for Super Bowl Sunday; however, for "1 pkg bacon," I'm not sure if it's 12 oz or a pound so I'll wing it. Also, I'm assuming 8-oz bars of cream cheese rather than 4-oz bars or 16-oz mega-bars of cream cheese. If anybody tries this with goat cheese (for less fat), I'd love to know how that works out!
