RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 large cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 cup white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons chopped dill

DIRECTIONS
Place cucumber in strainer, sprinkle with salt and let stand for several hours. Rinse under cold running water and dry on paper towels. Place cucumber in a bowl with vinegar, sugar and dill. Refrigerate for several hours before serving. At serving time, pour off almost all the liquid. Serve as an accompaniment to chicken, meat or fish.
