Dijon Mustard Sauce

  Makes 1 1/2 cups (Serves 12)
2 cups heavy cream
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
2 to 3 tablespoons dijon mustard
3 tablespoons minced fresh basil
1/4 tablespoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
In a medium saucepan, combine all the sauce ingredients. Place over medium heat and, stirring ocassionally, simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk for 1 or 2 minutes, or until the sauce begins to thicken. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Set aside and keep warm.
