Garlic Croutons

  Makes 2 cups (Serves 6)
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/3 cup olive oil
6 slices bread, crusts removed, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
In a small bowl, combine the garlic and oil. Cover and let marinate for 3 hours or longer.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Place the bread cubes in a single layer in a sauté pan or baking pan. Pour the garlic and oil mixture over the bread and stir to coat.

Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.

NOTE: The croutons can be stored in a covered container in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.
