2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter (2 sticks, 1/2 pound), softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
3 cups chocolate chips
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture, add milk and stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake in preheated 375 degree F oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes; remove to wire racks and cool.

They all loved it
I made it, though I did add a bit of Cinammon and coffee flavor to it just before placing it in the oven. We all loved it at home finished it in a few days. I am requested to make it again for the Jewish Holidays. Just note it does get flatter and bigger when it is in the oven baking.
