Florentine beefsteak is the perfect mid-week meal. This dish will take under 30 minutes to prepare and cook. The polenta will take more time to cook. Season your steaks with olive oil, salt and pepper and let sit in the refrigerator while you begin the polenta. When the polenta mixture is about 15 minutes away from being done, throw the steaks on the grill. The polenta can sit for a few minutes before serving but not for much longer. Put these nutmeg shortbread cookies in the oven about 30 minutes before you sit down to dinner. This way they will be coming out of the oven as your family finishes dinner. Serve with your favorite flavor of sorbet and fresh fruit.
