Holiday Sunday Brunch

Menu email to a friend
'Tis the season for parties, so why not have a festive holiday brunch to trim your tree or ring in the New Year. Start with a piping hot mug of mulled cranberry cider, a nice twist on a holiday favorite. Potato and ham frittata is a perfect buffet dish. Prepare ahead and serve hot on the buffet. This recipe serves four, so if you are having a large crowd, you might want to prepare more than one. Try substituting the ham with sausage for a heartier version. These Christmas pears are made with melted cinnamon candies for added flavor and color. You can also give your guests a jar of pears as a party favor. Muffins are always a welcome alternative to toast. Lemon muffins look great with shreds of lemon rind topping the muffins. The cream cheese frosting adds just enough sweetness to satisfy any sweet tooth.
